Gravity Force UK to coming to St.Albans on the 17th August! I have 4 jumps up for grabs *Get Booking Now*

I had the pleasure of collecting my boys yesterday, it was the last day of school for this year and they were super excited to be coming home with me.

However these Summer Holidays I will be mostly working, which seriously sucks, but this is life for a working parent.  However this will not stop us from having fun, I will be cramming in as much a possible on the days I get to spend with them.

I was delighted to received a lovely invitation from Gravity Force to their launch party in St.Albans on the 16th August 2016, prior to the Grand Opening on the 17th August.  The new St Albans location is the forth branch to be opening.  Gravity Force plan to bring Hertfordshire and the local communities a fun, refreshing new activity that benefits everyone.

England’s largest indoor trampoline park. 27,000 square feet of wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits and angled trampolines around the walls.  They are planning more brunches popping up this year too.

There is something for everyone at Gravity Force.

“Gravity Jump” is the core session and gives you access to all the park’s facilities.

“Gravity Tots” kids’ class is suitable for toddlers from walking age up to five-years-old, along with any parents or guardians.

“Gravity Fit” provides a high intensity, low impact structured fitness class that burns fat whilst building, toning and defining muscle.

Children can also host their birthday parties at the trampoline park.

Gravity Force is the ultimate UK trampoline park. Whether you’re a freestyle pro looking to
showcase an insane routine on the Tumble Tracks or an average Joe looking to get stuck into a game of trampoline dodgeball there really is something for everyone.

I am that average Joe and it looks so much fun, I am sure I would be a super sweaty mess afterwards, I wonder what the boys will make of it.  James just may go cream crackers with excitement.  He loves dodgeball too.

In the meantime I am really pleased to be teaming up with Gravity Force UK to give you the chance to win FOUR free jump sessions at the brand new St Albans Trampoline Park.

Fentimans Introducing their new Sparkling Lime & Jasmine with a London Bird Twist! The Review

Guess what Summer has landed, the sun has been shining down on us and the last few days have been a pleasure.

At the moment free time is very limited for me and I miss my girlfriends, drinking, gossiping and laughing.  However I am hoping to catch up with them this summer. I am grateful for the longer days, fresh air and long walks in the sweltering heat, this works well for me.

This Summer I need a refreshing drink, something light, refreshing and of course tasty and not over priced.

I few months ago the lovely people from Fentiments sent me their new super tasty Sparkling Lime & Jasmine.  I am already a huge fan of the Brand.  It's a British brand steeped history, over a 100 years of famously Botanical brewed drinks.

Fentiments offer exceptional flavours both in fizzy pops and alcoholic drinks, their retro style bottles are so recognisable, their branding has been revamped and bottles have improved over the years.   Did you know the portrait of the dog on their label is Thomas Fentimans dog, Freeless their family pet, he won Crufts for best obedient dog.

Fentimans drinks, always make me smile, great natural flavours, making me think back to happy times.  I couldn't wait to taste this new drink, natural favours, the drink is delicious, not sweet, a hint of bitterness, however very delicate also a thrust quencher, to be honest I have never tasted these flavours together before, they are very nice combination.  I enjoy the sparkling bubbles bouncing about in the mouth all over my tongue.  A real joy.

I am going to share something a little different, a little curve ball of a cocktail for when you hook up with friends and want to switch from light drinks to something refreshing cool and alcoholic.  A happy cocktail, that would work for picnics, at home with friends or a fun way to get any party started.

Makes One!
One Large glass required.
25ml Gin
A pouch of Kold Cosmopolitan Cocktail
A little squeeze of lime optional
1 Fentimans bottle of Sparkling Lime & Jasmine

I am talking no effort to make, no crushing ice or fruits.
I would start off with one pouch of Kold Cosmopolitan cocktail, make sure its slushy not frozen, add a  shot of Gin. Free pour Fentimans but at least 50mls, add a splash of lime juice. Mix and garish with Lime.
Super easy to make, cold, refreshing and very very tasty.

So what are your waiting for?  The sun is out to play, you may as well!
Please tell me what you think?  Maybe you have made your own cocktails? There's nothing wrong with experimenting.  A few bloggers have got involved, check them out with #FentimansSLJ on Twitter and Instagram.

The Epson EcoTank printer celebrating #PrintingDory Bloggers event

I was invited to a fantastic blogging event last Tuesday, Epson EcoTank Printers event at Disney's Flagship Store on Oxford Street in London.

Honestly, I rarely print, just because its so expensive, buying refill cartridges is a waste of money in my eyes.  I have been making the most of my local library and use the printer there.  However the inconvenience of having to go there (when its open) is a chore.  So when Epson invited me to view their **EcoTank Printer ** I jumped at the chance.  It really sounded fun, a crafting event themed to the new Disney movie Finding Dory.

Epson and Disney have joined forces bring us fantastic crafting fun.  The EcoTank printer has been designed to give us users the flexibility to go wild with printer ink.  Wild I tell you, forget about being frugal with colour copies, no more wondering will the ink streeeeetch.

This is a true scenario;  I arranged a birthday party for my son, the company emailed me the invites to forward to my guests.  My empty printer needed feeding, 2 cartridges and £24 later I managed to print 6 and half A4 pages off before the ink ran out.  I was mortified and so angry about wasting my money.  The printer has now been stored away, never to be seen again.

Epson have seen the light and paved a brighter future, transforming the way every day people can print, making printing affordable for everyone.  Small business, bloggers, students, families can all buy the complete set at an affordable price.

The EcoTank Printer range has different models ranging from £200 for their cheapest printer to the supreme Boss of EcoTank printers at £499 Priced accordingly to size and your printing needs.  The printers all come with the printer unit and four ink bottles.

The Espon EcoTank Printers can print upto 11,000 copies with the 4 ink bottles, the liquid doesn't dry out, with 2 years shelf life, the printers are easily start-up too.  There is an Epson iPrint app making it easy to print from other locations, being wireless you can be in kitchen and have your printer in the bedroom.  It is also possible to print when you are not even home.  Sounds a like a fantastic piece of kit to me.

Disney has designed a whole array of Dory Crafts, from simple designs to mind boggling origami challenges.  With the school holidays about to start, not everyone is going away, us Brits are 'Fortunate' to have so many rain days, (said with just a hint of sarcasm).  Why not do some crafting and spend some quality with the young ones.

Alice from More Than Toast, was our guest blogger for the afternoon, she is not a super crafter however she did bring the EcoTank printer to life.  Sharing her story how much she really enjoyed the printer and how it has improved her lifestyle and blogging projects.

I personal would usual spent £80-£100 on a decent printer, however know I am aware of the financial benefits, I would save up for the extra money to buy this little beauty.  Overall I would be making a saving, no more stressing about printing.  Sharing this fun experience with my sons, homework will be a delight.

So whatever you're upto this summer I hope you get stuck into some crafting fun.  Also if you are looking for an affordable printer, that is made to last and actual prints. The Epson EcoTank is the one for everyone.

I will be getting a printer and will do a detailed review in the future!

Aldi Back to School range 2016 - In-Stores THURSDAY 14th July - ITS A CRACKING DEAL

ALDI are back with their Back to School Range

James and Liam were invited to test out Aldi's latest school uniform a few weeks ago.
Not only did we get to see the new uniforms and try them on but the boys tested them out too and even got to appear in Aldi's latest video.

We had a lovely day, they spent the entire the day having fun, playing and being very active. Both James and Liam had the opportunity to wear their new uniforms.  Not only did they look very smart but they boosted how comfortable they had felt.

Last year I was very fortunate to be introduced to the Aldi Branded school uniform.  Firstly, I was surprised about the actual cost of them to buy, I wondered if the quality would be impacted by the price.  We took the opportunity to wear the uniforms throughout the school year.  I have been super pleased with them, the quality is great.  We have washed and rewashed them, also I've ironed them to a pulp so many times, the clothes stayed true, the sweaters faded only a little bit not much shrinkage either.  The Polo shirts do not stay white, so don't expect miracles.  However they wash well.  The school trousers have been awesome, they are as good as new. I original brought 6 and only one pair has a hole in the knee.  None of the uniform frayed.
However my boys have got up to all sorts in their uniforms, both boys have played their part well, they would come home everyday looking a little grubby and even sweaty.  Thinking about it they do spend a lot of time in their uniforms.

Little Liam has shot-up in the last year and started fitting into James cast-offs. I am really pleased I brought a massive bundle as they have been prefect and I have got so much value for money.

I have great news on the 14th July 2016, Aldi are releasing the new uniforms.  However the bad news is...  once these uniforms have been sold THEY ARE GONE! So get planning and BUYING!

For the first time it will possible to pre-order.  It's so exciting, Pre-order starts tomorrow, the 7th July.

They have new packaging, the L & D range!
The quality of their Polo tops have also improved, they are thicker and have ribbed collars which is a nice little detail.

To give you an idea of cost... The average cost for a full uniform is £4, that's right £4! This is an amazing bargain!  A Sweater, x2 pack of Polo shirts and a pair of trousers.  When you have two growing boys, its makes sense to spend wisely.

Aldi will have affordable school shoes too, I am rather fond of them, they have a been made very well and scream quality, they are firm, heavy, made to last! I'm unsure of the price, but I would happily pay £10, as other brands are expensive and look and feel cheap in comparison.

So what are you waiting for?
 Get to Aldi 14th July!
