Old El Paso’s New Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Taco Kits - Great for any day not just #TacoTuesday. 'Stand n Stuff'

Do you ever get those days you can't be bothered to spend an hour slaving over a hot cooker.  However you fancy eating something with the WOW Factor?  Wanting something fun to eat, easy to prepare, eye catching and gets the whole family involved for dinner.  I give you Tacos, these are not originally Tacos but new and improved Tacos from Old El Paso, their new Stand n Stuff range.

With my Latin American roots I love this type of food, actually my whole clan love Tacos.
My boys, especially Liam always makes a right mess (with the old style).  He gets given a tea towel to wear as a huge bib.  However I am pleased to announce Old El Paso have made some quality changes, their isn't as much spillage now.  Liam's tea towel bib is no longer needed.  The Soft Taco, Stand n Stuff are very impressive and it is possible to add a lot more filling too.

These can be purchased in Stand 'N' Stuff  packs of 8 or Stand 'N' Stuff Soft Taco Kits.

The Kits contain 8 Stand n Stuff Tacos, a packet of the seasoning Mix and a packet of Salsa sauce.

I used 500g of minced beef. I add this to the pan with very little oil to brown, once browned, pour out the oil/fat.  Then add the seasoning mix and add 50ml of water, stir and simmer for 10 minutes

It this stage pop the Tacos in the oven to brown a little. Gas Mark 3 for 5/8 minutes will be enough. Just keep checking them.

Then its YOUR choice what you want to eat with your them.

I usually make the same, sour cream, grated cheese, shredded lettuce, salsa (included in the kit), chopped fresh tomatoes, refried beans.  These all take next to no time to prepare.

I will make a plate of nachos with slices jalapeno peppers and melted cheese.

Also a bowl of fresh, easy to make guacamole.
One avocado, one tomato, two spring onions. Peel and deseeded the avocado, chop the tips off the spring onions.  Slice everything up, add salt and blitz with a hand blender.  Job done.  You can add more ingredients to your guacamole it should be made the way you like.

Take the toasted Tacos out of the oven. SERVE!

We have lots of bowls and serving spoons.

We all get stuck in, the kids, me and my boyfriend fill our tacos with what we want to eat.

Our verdict: Very tasty, easy to prepare, a good way to use up all the last bits in the fridge, very filling, cheap, dinner ready in 20 minutes.
Easy to fill, hold and eat, even for little hands and mouths
