Wanting to Book your Theatre Tickets Quickly Try TODAY TIX. I watched the smash hit Miss Saigon with them!

Last week I was invited to road test a new online app TODAY TIX.  I am a huge fan of technology, anything that can help assist me with a fuss free life, I am happy to help.

Two former Broadway producers, Brian Fenty and Merritt Baer, took notice of the theater industry's overall lack of innovation when it came to ticketing.  They put their minds together and invented TODAY TIX.  This revolutionary booking Theatre ticket App, has been very successfully in New York booking Broadway Shows.

So the next step was to bring it too the UK, LONDON Baby!  From downing loading the App to confirmation of my theatre seats, the process only took minutes.  The app is extremely user friendly, each stage is self explanatory.

Tickets can be purchased from an hour before a show, up too a week.

1) Download the TODAY TIX App to your device.
2) TODAY TIX screen appears, make sure to choose LONDON not NEW YORK.
3) You'll be greeted with all the current 'West End' Shows, scroll up/down find the show you want.
4) Click the show you want, a list of days/dates and from prices appear.
5) Here you select the number of seats, the type of seat (price bracket) you want.
6) Then you are offered your seats numbers, you can check the theatre seating plan here too, all of the details of the performance appear, to confirm you swipe to Checkout. (Otherwise you are welcome to search the shows without committing.)
7) At checkout you enter your billing/contact details and payment details, then swipe to Buy
8) Your booking is now confirmed, details of how tickets will be sent show here.  If it is a last minute booking, you collect your tickets from the booking office. (Also a confirmation email to be sent)

It really is as simple as that!
No queuing
No phoning through to a Call Centers
Not being left on holding

The app can be used from anywhere, On Bus, in the Park, walking to an Appointment.

Its Fast, Efficient, Fuss free, Free to Download and Easy to use!

Once I had booked my tickets, I could not let them go to waste.  TODAY TIX kindly invited me to watch Miss Saigon as their guest.  Luckily I chose the Stalls, the price including the booking fee £45 per ticket.  (They were not the most expensive seats)  I was located seats C7/8 Stalls.  I had excellent seats, 3 rows away from the front, I felt I could reach out and touch the stars.

Miss Saigon is at The Prince Edward theatre, easy find in the Heart of the West End.   I was greeted by the lovely TODAY TIX team, offered Champagne before the show.

What an exciting show from start to finish.  Miss Saigon's storyline is so much more then two people falling in love during the Vietnam War, but a general cause for concern when a war rips people, nations and families apart.

Beautifully portrayed.  The smoke, the drama, the money, the sex.  The effects of children during war, wanting to live the AMERICAN DREAM.

Fabulous acting, singing and dancing throughout.  Jon Jon Briones, The Engineer stole the Show for me.  His passion and fun was electric.

Thank you kindly TODAY TIX for having me.  It was one of the best West End shows I have ever watched.

Thank you stopping by, dont be shy, come and say Hi!

Explore LONDON - The London Duck Tour & Coca Coke The London Eye - Review #SummerHolidays Fun

The school holidays are HERE.  What have you got planned for the summer? Are you coming to LONDON?

I wanted to bring you some of the delights that London has to offer, if you have lived here all your life or you are popping over to London for a day trip.  I planned a tour on The London Duck Tours and a ride on The London Eye

With two bouncing boys, we headed into London on an early Sunday morning.  We found our departure point (close to Westminster Bridge).  To be greeted by an Amphibious Vehicle, that's right you read that correctly.  The vehicle is half boat and half truck, it travels on both land and water.  It's known as DUKW.   Very similar to DUCK.

DUKW stands for the following:
D  - The first year of production code "D" is for 1942
U  - Body style "U" utility truck (amphibious)
K -  Front wheel drive
W - Two rear driving wheels (tandem axle)

These vehicles were invented to carry cargo from ships to the mainland, during the war.  Very successful they were too.  Most of the Ducks have sadly been destroyed over the years, however the few vehicles that are left have been put in to good use.  The London Duck Tour company have a fleet of such vehicles.

I have always wanted to do a tour of London, I thought it would be a great way to learn about this beautiful city I love and adore.  As my sons are so used to travelling on London Transport, I wanted to take them on something different, hoping they would enjoy a new experience.

When they saw our carriage for the next hour (Can be longer depending on traffic), their little faces lite-up.  We found some seats and waited for your host and our journey to begin.

We were greeted by guide a lady called Chris.  I have never been on a tour were the guide was so informative.  Chris had a lovely way about her, she spoke with passion about our route, so fluid about the tour, it was more then just telling use the facts like a robot, she was very interesting to listen too, great story teller.  Our tour was split into sections, land, water, land.  Chris pointed out all the landmarks and told us lovely little anecdotes throughout.  She is a great guide I found her impeccable.  She also ensured we were all kept safe, especially when we had to change vehicles.

We travelled on Desdemona, however we had to change Ducks for our Thames Cruise to Duck Rosalind who was more sea worthy.  The other Ducks of this glorious team are Mistress Quickly, Beatrice, Titania, Miranda, Elizabeth, Portia.  All of them our named after female Shakespearean characters.

In all honestly my sons had a great time.   However neither of them paid any attention to Chris, they did enjoy seeing the sights and watching people give us attention travelling on the Ducks.  They loved Desdemona being so quirky, when we transferred onto Rosalind to sail on he Thames they both made the biggest WHOOP sounds as we plunged into the Thames.  My youngest become super excited having a euphoric moment he had never came so close to the Thames before.  I would recommend this tour for fun, its quirkiest and something families will remember for a long time to come.  Also children who are doing projects about London will love this too.

Our next adventure for the day we were going to travel on the London Eye, AKA The Eye.  The Eye is just a 2 minute walk away from where the departure point of The London Duck Tour.  The Queue for The Eye looked long.  However the entire location around London's tallest monument was heaving.

The London Eye was opened by then The Prime Minister Tony Blair on 31 December 1999 to coincide with The New year Millennium celebrations.  The general public had to wait until 9th March 2000 before they could see the attraction first hand.  The Eye was suppose to be taken down after 5 years, (imagine that it took 7 years to build) however it has become one of London's iconic attractions in the last 15 years, it is London's top paid attraction.  Since when it first opened at least 50 million people have ridden The Eye.  It has a prime location on the Thames, a stones throw away from the Southbank.  Offering the most amazing views across London, if you are lucky enough to ride on a clear day, you can seeing as far as 40km from the top, seeing as far as Windsor Castle.     The architecture is beautiful, it really looks like a giant bicycle wheel, The Wheel is supported by an A-frame on one side only, unlike any of the taller wheels, the Eye is described as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel in the World".
We did not queue for that long, as the full rotation takes only 30 minutes.  The Eye is continuing taking its guests on and off.  The staff were guiding everyone onto the capsules, they were super officiant, it was done in a military style but with all smiles and a warm welcome.

My sons seemed happy.  I explained we were going to see across London all the beautiful city below.  There is kiosk within the queue, I brought the boys a lolly each, as I was not sure how they would react to being so high.  It was a little distraction for them.  I actually had nothing to worry about, The Eye moves 26cm a second, it hardly feels like you are moving.  Both boys were very happy looking around the capsules, peering outside, asking questions and sucking their lollies at the same time.  I started off by showing them the main attractions, where mummy has worked, where Granma and their aunties live.
They loved Big Ben, Liam called it Little Ben. They both found the PWC Embankment Place building fascinating, also the bridges and the rail networks amused them.  I pointed out Buckingham Palace, explaining Her Majesty The Queen wasn't home.

We all had a great time even thou both experiences are very different.  I found the experiences complimented each other.  Travelling The Duck Tour and then point out the landmarks we had just seen from The London Eye worked will.

I have washed the uniforms are they still look great and stay in shape. Especially the trousers and sweaters.
Most of all the PRICES are ridiculously CHEAP!

Being a mum is 2 boys, I have too budget, more so as its the 6 weeks holidays, I need money for spending, entertainment money, ice cream money, then all of usual things that go hand in hand with running a home and family.  I am sure you understand what I am saying, then at some point there are the new uniforms to buy. In the past I have always gone to my local Big Brand Superstore.   The uniform are well priced, I never moan.  However with my first hand experience with Aldi, they really have gone one better and stick two fingers up at all of their competitors.  They are almost giving away their uniforms.  I would be a fool not to buy our uniform from them.

I am waking up at the crack of dawn in the morning to get to my nearest Aldi (its over an hours away) to buy my sons their new fabulous school uniforms for year.   I will be tweeting all about it!  I am honestly very excited.

Armitage GOOD BOY Clean Green Dog Loo review, tired and tested!

Let me introduce you to Tyson.  I have written a few posts about my dog, like any owner I love him to bits, even when he is sitting in a swamp!
He is my youngest son however he is more the 4 legged variety than two.  Like all my sons, he loves the garden, mostly to use as his personal toilet.

When we first got him he would wait until he got home from his walkies and do his business in the garden.  Even 3 years down the line he still comes home and wants to run around in the garden, thankfully he is usually on empty.

However he still uses the garden for his morning constitutionally.  I do not have a huge garden and I have children and they love to use the garden too, so I want to keep it as clean as possible.  More so in the summer as we are all outside using the garden.

My boyfriend installed Armitage GOOD BOY Clean Green Dog Loo.  It's about 2 foot long and a foot wide.  We chose the quietest spot in out garden to install the new dog loo.  10 minutes of hard labour, my boyfriend dug a deep hole in our garden to fit the dog loo perfectly.  Once that was done the rest is very easy.  Place the dog loo in the hole, the small bucket first followed with the top bucket.  Find stones to mix in the soil behind the gaps in the top bucket (to help with the drainage system).  Fill the loo to the top with water, the water will drain out and level in the smaller bucket.  Then add the 2 Bio-Activator tablets.

The hole - 60cm by 70cm

Placing the dog loo in the right postion

adding the soil back and stones back

The dog loo is now secure

Filling up the dog loo with water

Water correctly draining out

Adding x2 Bio-Activator into the dog loo

We have poo
A couple of reason for using this Green Dog Loo;
1) Usually it would get binned with our waste
2) Its a fast and effective way to naturally clean the poo
3) Its environmentally friendly
4) My boyfriend works for the Environment Agent (Extra brownie points)
I have been using our dog loo for a few months now.  To be honestly its not the nicest job however I know I am looking after our environment.  Tyson has even started pooing close to the bucket now. The bucket has a screw down lid, so no worries of anyone getting inside of it.
Every week I add a new Bio-Activator tablet.  Every 2 weeks I flash the dog loo out by adding 2 buckets of water.  There is no need to stir the loo, or tamper with it whatsoever.

If like me, you want to keep your garden clean and on top of wasting the doggy poos, I recommend trying out this dog loo!

Can be purchased from Amazon;
£11.44 RRP - Good Boy Clean Green Dog Loo  (come with 4 tablets)
£4.99 RPP - Good Boy Activator Solution 15 tablets

Interested in Good Boy please have a look at my Good Boy Choc Drops - The Original dog treat!
Also have a look at their website, their catalog have everything from, treats, to chews, beds and leads.  Leaders in dog care! Armitages - GOOD BOY

Have you missed me?

I have missed you...

Last week my beloved boyfriend got in a rage and smashed the router.  Of all the things to break, the router?  Well that felt like someone chopping of my arms for a few days!!!

I was so upset if I wasn't a mature adult I would of throw his PS4 out the window.  Well, to say this week has been interesting.  I have had access to my social media on my phone but that is not the same as punching the keys on my laptop and being able to write.  I have felt very restricted.

Once upon a time I used to smoke like a trooper (before kids) I can tell you my entire family have had withdrawal symptoms.  What did we do before the the internet!!! It wasn't so bad for the boys, they have games they can play but they moaned and moaned and can they moan.

Even him, thou shalt not mention his name - AKA the destroyer of 'fun'!  He had the cheek to take over MY living room.  I have my little spot on the sofa where I type sixty to the dozen on my laptop, mostly I am happy as Larry there.  However he decided the Living Room has gone into a communal zone.  He put on the Ashes.  I am not a huge fan of sports at the best of times, but the cricket.  Then to highlight my experience he gifted me with a running commentary over the contaminators commentary.  My bad, for split second I forget not to be interested and ask a question about the match. he then explained the rules.

However we have spent a lot of time together talking and watching a few great films, finally watched The Hobbit: The battle of the five armies, we played games and my naughty man even taught the boys how to play chess.  So it hasn't all been bad.

So yes, I have slipped under the blogging raider this week.  However everything is all connected and running back to normal.  I almost kisses the courier when the router arrived.  My beloved is back in his lair gaming.  I have switched on my laptop! Its all good!
