Last weekend I celebrated my birthday with my dearest and closes friends on a rare night out. Previously I had won a cocktail Masterclass with La Brasserie, I thought this would be a fun evening with friends and we might even learn something. Myself and 4 friends attended their 2 hour master Cocktail making class. The classes are hosted on a Sundays nights from 6-8.
On arrival we met Alex and Raffaello who greeted us with a lovely bottle of Champagne, very welcoming and friendly staff. The atmosphere is bright and bubbly, very relaxed. The bar area is situated by the entrance a huge great square bar, the style is very 50s, lots of marble, mirrors, racing red leather, glasses and bottles. Lots of regular drinkers there, people coming in for pre-dinner drinks, the restaurant area soon became busy with diners. There are huge shutters that opened-up, very French, Al Fresco style, great for beautiful days.
I had a marvellous evening, Alex our host is very friendly, he ensured we each made a cocktail of our choice and a shooter cocktail. They all tasted fantastic. The staffed made us laugh and kept us entertained.
I would highly recommend this night out, great if you like drinking, learning something new and even making new friends, the staff are like family, such a pleasant evening. I was also given a little chocolate mousse and everyone sang Happy Birthday to me, that was the icing on the cake, so thoughtful. The masterclass was £10pp, I found this brilliant. We also had a few other drinks and everything was reasonable priced.
Disclaimer: All for fun, just wanted to share a little bit of London fun experience with you.
PS: Photos of cocktails are winging themselves to me. Slight peeshed people cant take photos. haha
