I have had some very exciting news today, I am a FINALIST with The Diary of a Jewellery Lover... I need your help please

I am a FINALIST!!!!

Just the other day I entered a competition (shock horror) with the lovely Mellisa Williams from The Dairy Of a Jewellery Lover .

She had a super competition ran with  Kaleidoscope.  Mellisa selected 4 pieces from their spectacular range chosen off their website, she put together this gorgeous casual outfit.

However (the twist) she had left to her readers to add their final piece, choosing ANYTHING (upto the value £60) to make a great look.  There was so much to choose from.  I selected this beautiful Three Row Necklace & Bracelet it not only pretty but a great bargain only costing £35. I personal believe it would offer the WOW factor.  Turn this gorgeous outfit too a little show stopped.  The stunning jewellery could be used to glam up any outfit nice for going out in the evening.

Fancy a Nibble, Hotel Chocolat Munch & Nibbles Chocolate review,

I am super pleased to be given something very special to review from the fine chocolate makers, Hotel Chocolat

Hotel Chocolat offer a superb range of chocolates, individuals bars, gift boxes and selection boxes including their signature & classic ranges, of all varieties; milk, dark, white, nutty, boxes of all sizes to suit all budgets.  Luxurious quality chocolate for all.  Hotel Chocolat have an excellent array for all occasions and seasons alike; I have been sent a delightful box of Munch & Nibble prefect for Autumn.

The new chocolate delights are officially here.  Thankfully the clocks had just gone back an hour, giving us an extra hour in bed in the morning.  I will not feel like I am waking up in the dead of night anymore, I could even sneak a nibble of these treats with my morning coffee.

The box is an assortment of chocolate encased nuts, raisins and a few new spicy, zesty flavours for an indulgent mix to suit anyone's palate.  I really love this new concept from Hotel Chocolate. 6 delightful trays of finger pinching chocolate treats, can be shared or eaten alone.

Dark Caramelised Hazelnuts
Lovely crunchy nuts, the chocolate snaps, a lovely rich flavour

Lemon in Dark Chocolate & Orange in Milk Chocolate
These nibbly bits are a taste sensation, the lemon (Darker) and orange (Lighter) compliment each other, a quick tingly citrus burst with a powdery melting chocolate moment.

Milk Raisin Grazers
Soft, chewy and fruity, the chocolate is sweet

Dark Salted Caramelised Almonds
The almond and chocolate is delicious and crunchy feast

Ginger in Dark Chocolate
The smell is awesome, the ginger ignites a hint of warmth, taste explodes in my mouth, different but really tasty

Milk Chocolate Salted Peanuts
Really traditional wholesome nutty chocolate bite

The taste combination is endless, mixing them-up or eat as individuals, having one or two, one of each or handfuls.  I have to admit however I eat them they our moreish, very tasty, I have had to hide them from me.

As for me, the nights fall upon us sooner, bringing a chill in the air, its definitely time to kick off my shoes after a long day and share all of the chocolaty goodness with my family and friends or when I am having a moment I will have a cheeky Munch & Nibble on my own.

The packaging is pretty, very cute with little windows for us to peek inside. This box would also make lovely gift and a fab idea to take to parties.  I imagine everyone standing in the kitchen having a gossip and munch, these would be ideal, me thinks.

The box is £16, Weighs 270g / 9.5oz
Hotel Chocolat have a strong ingredients philosophy to only use wholesome, real ingredients. their overall concept is to use Less Sugar, More Cocoa.
Suitable for vegetarians, alcohol free, contains soya, milk, nuts

Please note this is an unsponsored, I have been sent the box to review this is my honest review.

I hope you get to taste sometime soon.

Dog Tails, a Dog with Pizzazz

Tyson; a Dog with Pizzazz!

Anyone who reads my blog will be aware that I love my pooch, he plays a massive role within our family home.  He is a rescue dog, I've no idea how someone could of mistreated him.  He came into my life named Tyson, he isn't a fighter but loves a wrestle. He is Lurcher, Greyhound-Dalmatian cross. He turned 2 last September, he's my little boy.  My life just would not feel right without him. I love him, I take him everywhere I go.

He is not the most graceful of hounds, he can be a greedy guts and keeps us entertained with his stinky farts, he can be found upside down on the sofa snoring his head off.

He had issues when we first left him alone at home.  We had only home him for 3 weeks, I did the school run, I was a little longer then usual, doing a mini detour via the park with my boys.

 I came home to this!

I cried.  I can deal with the massacre of the pillows, soft toys and the odd shoe but my sofa was a tad too much for me that day.   Lucky for Tyson I could replace my sofa not him.

Thankfully his disruptive behaviour has calmed down.  I still come home to shredded pillows and toys!  Crikey whatever you do don't hype him up.
On a personal level I do on occasion get-up to strange things, especially when it comes to my hobby; Comping.

I wanted to enter a video competition, I had to bounce on a Spacehopper for at least 30 seconds.  I came up with a master plan.  I would jump down a huge hill, it looked so romantic all covered in fresh snow, how could anything go wrong.  The kids in school, hubby has taken the day off work to film for me.

Me, my hubby and our doggy, we walked a while to find the right location, it was perfect spot.

Me, plus an already pumped Spacehopper ready to go, this is what happened.

I hope you laughed, I did but only after I watched the footage. Totally my own fault, I did not think for one minute, he would steal it from me and burst it. I could not even get a second go, gutted at the time.  Looking back he is a cheeky mutt. I would not change him for the world!

There is never a dull moment in my home

Waking up dog breathe in my face

Power Rangers Megaforce Deluxe Gosei Morpher Review, Bandai Toys, Christmas Gift

I am super happy as Christmas is getting closer, soon the adverts will be pumping ideas into my sons and the demands will be began. Santa will have to make some tough choices.
In the meantime I like to research the toys they want,  it makes sense then Santa can make wise choices from that point.

I hope I help you make some choices easier.  Bandai offer a huge range for boys and girls toys.  They kindly sent me the Deluxe Gosei Morpher to review... Go Go Megaforce

Power Rangers Megaforce Deluxe Gosei Morpher

My sons recongised the Morpher as seen in the Power Rangers series (Really good they did, as I didn't).  This sassy device comes with 10 Power Cards. the Morpher unlocks the collectable cards that come with the  Megaforce toy range.  The Morpher opens, you insert your card, the Morpher then gives you phasers.
Just in case you are unware what the Morpher is or what the relation to the series; quick lesson.
Our lovely Power Range look just like you and me because they our, they are a group of human teenagers. When the teenagers morph into Power Rangers, they gain superhuman strength, agility, and mastery over martial arts.  Now they can go into battle, kick some serious evil alien villain butts, whom our mostly very weird and freaky looking.

The Mega Rangers call "It's Morphin' Time! Go Go Megaforce!"
Like the Morph process begins
The Power Card is inserted, the Gosei Morpher snaps shut and the morphing sequence starts. During the morphing sequence they shout out their Ranger designations

Megaforce  Red  / Megaforce Blue / Megaforce Black / Megaforce  Pink / Megaforce Yellow

It’s a cool device that comes with 10 picture cards, each card has unique phases, with a total of 180 phases

Do you know Power Rangers has been popular since the early 90's?

I also found out the Gosei Morpher and the cards are really collectable items.  Interesting little fact: Some of the cards have original quotes back to the original series.

My boys seem to like the toy, my youngest almost 4 years old, does not use to pretend to morph but, insists on taking it everywhere with him, its a shield mostly, he loves that is talks.  He has already asked for the Power Rangers customs.

Plus points
Its small, light in weight and easy to carry
Good clear sound quality
Character recognition to the Power Ranger cartoon series
No batteries needed
Huge range of other characters that can be purchased and played with the Power Rangers Mega Forces
Mutliplayer action

Negative points
Shame the cards are made from cardboard, they may not last in my home

Interesting device, its for 4+  - Great for encouraging role play and sharing. I would recommend buy the Power Ranger suit and the let the kids run riot.  My kids love toys that have a purpose, the a lights and sounds are very attractive attribute.

We have given the Deluxe Gosei Morpher a family thumbs-up.

Recommended retail price £29.99. Searching online I have seen it from £25.99 fair price as had seen it a lot higher too.

The entire Power Rangers Megaforce toys can be found on the Bandai Toy UK website and its possible to purchase direct.

Ben 10 Omniverse Transformations Station Review, Bandai Toys, Christmas Gift

The rather lovely toy makers Bandai Toys have sent me a couple of goodies to Review.  Prefect just in time for Christmas!

Ben 10 Ominverse Transformation Station

One look at the massive box I had two very excited sons. Before playtime I had to set the Transformation Station-up.  At first I felt really confused, looking back I should not of been, it was really easy to set-up.  The toy is designed for 4+. I would recommend 8+ to add the stickers to the Transformation station. If they are placed wrongly there is no way to restick them.

The Transformation Station is a clever toy, place Ben 10 in the entrance of the Station. Hit the magic button and bang, Ben 10 transforms in the Humungousaur.  I showed my sons how to hide  humungousaur in the trap doors.

The Transformation Station comes with extras; there is a cool bike that Ben 10 can sit on, pull the super trigger, Ben 10 is fired across the floor.  My eldest thinks this is brilliant as he has not stopped playing with it.  Also a Missile Launcher, great for shooting little brothers, daddies and anyone walking pass.

The Transformation Station had been used as typewriter, a till, a tower or castle during battle to name a few of the games I could hear being played.

Plus points
Easy to set-up
2 figures included (Ben 10 & Humungousau)
Hours of fun
Encourages imagination play
Character recognition to the Ben 10 Omniverse cartoon series
No batteries needed
Huge range of other characters that can be purchased and played with the Transformation Station

Negative points
Stickers fiddly to stick on
Lots of pieces (Just ensure a box is near by to keep it all safe & together)
Humungousaur tail is detachable

My sons have been having great fun with the Transformation Station.  Its great to watch them pretend play and using their imaginations not just for Ben 10 character play but all sorts making up stories.

I really like the fact that both my sons like the toy, they have played together, separately and played for hours.  I would highly recommend this on my Christmas Gift list.

Last year I made what I thought were wise choices, as the toys gave me the WOW factor in their boxes in the store.  However once home they did nothing, meaning money wasted.  I would recommend read/watch reviews online and try to browse online first.

I really hope you enjoyed this, its our first toy review and I am happy that as a family we can give it the thumbs-up.

Recommended retail price £29.99. Searching online I have seen it from £24.00 bargain.  My sons are almost 4 & 5 and both had no complaints just compliments.

The entire Ben 10 Omniverse range can be found on the Bandai Toy UK website and its possible to purchase direct.

Darling Spuds... Sweet and Salty Popcorn Review

I have been lucky enough to sample some more tasty snacks!

Darling Spuds have kindly sent me something from their new range. They have put down their big bag of spuds and gone for the pop of corn kernel! Yes POPCORN!

Darling Popcorn Sweet and Salty is rather tasty, it's a lovely combination of sea salt and cane sugar, its super light in the mouth.  It reminds of the popcorn you buy at the cinema.

If you fancy something slightly different, not packed full of preservatives however packing a punch of delicate flavours, definitely give them a try.

Suitable for Vegetarians, High in Fibre and Gluten Free. Less than 40 calories in a 9g bag. Great for healthy bodies and for the kiddies.

I love a tasty snack, so do all my family, the only compliant I have is that the bags are too small.  The Multipack had 5 packets, the multipack lasted 10 minutes between 4 of us. YUM!

What I really like about them is I can add them to my sons package lunch and I am not going to get evils from the teachers. Both my sons really enjoyed them.  Mutlipacks can be purchased in Tesco £1.50.
